KE2 LDA Earns 2017 Dealer Design Award

Washington, Missouri – In July, the KE2 LDA Communication Device won KE2 Therm’s Third DDA Award in 5 Years. The company was recognized for excellence in product design in the 14th annual Dealer Design Awards Program. The Dealer Design Awards are sponsored by The Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration News magazine, the leading trade magazine in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration industries.

KE2 Therm’s KE2 LDA local area dashboard and alarms communication device earned the Bronze Award in the Monitoring and Testing category.  An independent panel of industry contractors acted as judges for the contest.

The judges selected the award winning entries, as products that they recognized would improve the installation, service, and maintenance of HVACR equipment.

KE2 Therm is a relatively new presence in the HVACR industry, however despite the company’s youth, this is the fifth industry award, and the third time the company has received recognition in the Dealer Design Awards.

In 2013, the company’s flagship product, the KE2 Evaporator Efficiency controller, was honored with a Bronze Award in the Commercial Controls category, and in 2015 the company earned a Gold Award in Commercial Controls for the KE2 Low Temp + Defrost, which edged out industry giant Mitsubishi Electric.

Designed and produced in Washington, Missouri, the KE2 LDA is used by refrigeration customers (contractors & end users) that want the ability to manage their refrigeration controllers remotely. The KE2 LDA’s ability to communicate, control, and send alarm notifications via text or e-mail from KE2 Therm’s serial-modbus controllers is of special interest to contractors that have prior installations of KE2 Temps, KE2 Low Temps or KE2 Adaptive controls.

With some contractors having installed hundreds of KE2 Temp or KE2 Low Temp controllers, it’s no mystery why the KE2 LDA is being greeted enthusiastically, as it opens up a whole new world of opportunity for these contractors, and the end user.
